A city is never only what exists in the present.
Using an antique map as its foundation, this work layers historical Wuhan with the city remembered after 2020. Time folds onto itself as centuries of urban growth, personal memory, and collective trauma occupy the same landscape. The virus appears not only as a biological threat but as a mark on history—an event that altered how an entire generation remembers a city.
